Weekend Wrap Up and Update

Well, I have not been posting as often lately, and certainly my posts have not been exciting. I have not had much time to write. In less than 2 weeks we pack up our rental house and move AGAIN. Yes, 2 moves in 4 months. Because we're just that hard up for drama.

So, all my free time (the nanoseconds I have) that isn't frittered away on bon bon consumption and Oprah watching is being put into the preparation for the move - changing school districts, addresses, packing, utility switches, final touches on the new house, plus the normal drama like doctor appointments, repairing the stupid minivan that we haven't repaired yet, blah blah blah... you know the drill. You live it too.

So, I had a great idea. It's time to RECYCLE my posts! Since it's hard to write anything of substance right now due to pathological insomnia, anxiety, and being in the weeds, I thought I'd re-post some of my favorites from long ago. My devout followers who have been with me since the beginning may find it dull, but hopefully some of you newbies will get to read some archives... the oldies but goodies. Or perhaps oldies and moldies. Whatever, total cop out. Just trying to hang onto you all before you abandon the bloggy ship!

I promise I'll be back in the saddle once we move and get our Internet set up and unpacked in the new house. Just in time for Holiday Mayhem to be unleashed.

Until then, I love you all and I hope you can hang in with me. I'll be back soon, I PROMISE! I hope you will too. Enjoy the reruns during my few week hiatus!

How about the one with the self-help book. The author had one child, etc. I can't remember it exactly, but I remember really liking it and laughing a lot. That was one of my favorites. I'm sorry. Are you even taking requests? Well, in case you are, you just got mine :)

Good luck with the move. We're contemplating a move in the next 6 months or so, so I'm looking forward to hearing how it went. I've only been reading for a couple months, so I'm looking forward to reading some oldies and getting to "know" you better :)

I for one am waaay excited. I am a newbie and I always want to "get lost" in the archives but never have the time. Everything new is old again or old again is new? Whatever-yay! And good luck with the move and all it entails.

Recycled Posts are the new black. Go for it, and I look forward to the ride.

Nice that you'll be in the new house for the holidays.
I love recycling.

I have a strange relationship with moving. It is horrible, awful, full of way too much work and too many decisions...and I love it. The newness, the beginnings, the closeness of family once you get over the small irritations of how horribly obsessive (he) packs and how slowly! Good luck to you. I can't wait to read your historical blogs and the new posts when you return. I offer a suggestion...I would love to hear of your experiences setting up doctors and such in a new town (if, in fact you are going to a new town). I know that was a huge issue with us and a big goal to assure some continuity of care. Have FUN!!

As always, I am enjoying reading your blog. Smart of you to recycle your posts to keep your readers. I've been majorly lagging on writing lately, too, and am sure I've lost my two readers by now.
Hope the move goes smoothly for all. The one into your new house, that is :)
