Weekend Wrap Up

Ooops. I'm a day late with my weekend wrap up. And no photos! The SHAME!

Weekend? Crazy busy. Went out drinking 3 nights in a row, starting on Thursday with a girls night 'in.' So fun! Friday went out on a date with my husband - I know, try not to faint. I almost did. And we actually did something NOT lame. We went to a fundraising event at an Art Gallery in Haddonfield and had food provided by SJ's Top Chefs from the leading local restaurants. Open wine and beer bar too. Really nice night.

Saturday, had my soon-to-be-sister-in-law's bridal shower. Margarita Night Theme. Pomegranate margaritas all around. Oh, to be 25, freshly engaged, childless and beautiful. Brought a tear to my eye. Well, that might have been the alcohol. Or the mourning of my lost youth. Lots of fun, though.

By Sunday I was totally hurting from 3 consecutive late nights and booze, so what do I do? After going to bed Sunday night I wake up at 2:30 am and NEVER FALL BACK ASLEEP!!! No crap.

Insomnia bites.

First of all, your youth is not lost, it's been very well invested, and still not gone. Second of all, you are happily married, with amazingly gorgeous children, and absolutely beautiful yourself - which totally beats the 25-year-old childless thing. Third of all, what an awesome weekend! So glad you had fun :)

How much fun does that sound? I agree, it's fun to play 25, but it's so much better to be happy in your own beautiful skin.

Sounds like you had a good time!

Definitely sounds like fun - it's the paying for it later that seems to get harder and harder! Glad you got to get out, though.

Wow, you party animal!!

It's great that you went out and had a blast. You really deserve it with all the hard work you do as a mom to four children.

Way to go, Alicia!!

Wow! Sounds like a great time. I hate those nights where I can't get to sleep and the next day of trying to stay wake until the kids go to bed.

I hate insomnia!

And, party on with your bad self. I'm doing that right now as I catch up on blog reading. No harm, no foul.
