The big news this weekend was Easter which turned into the weekend of 101 egg hunts.
Well, really three... plus the one the weekend before and the junk that went on at school.
Oh, to be a kid - what a blast!
We had to set the alarm Easter Sunday for 6:30 am in order to have the girls find and open their Easter baskets (ugh, don't get me started) and make it to the 8:00 am Mass. We opted for this early mass as opposed to the 10:30 because we had such a jam-packed, fun filled day!
After Mass we headed toward one of our neighbor's homes for their annual brunch and a huge egg hunt. It was the most well-run, adorable thing ever.
Then, we headed to a smaller get together with our immediate neighbor and their family. This included, what else - a joint egg hunt across our two yards and more yummy food!
We hung out there until it was time to go to my Mom's and celebrate with my extended family for dinner and egg hunt #3!
They started off looking for their adorable baskets filled with books and sweets and crafts.
My mom and step-dad literally have the BEST yard for an egg hunt. It's really just the best yard, period. I love their property.
The only unfortunate thing was that on top of being obnoxiously cold for an Easter day, it had the audacity to start raining...
...which obviously didn't slow them down in the least.
If you celebrated this past weekend, I hope your Easter was joyous and blessed in every way.

I love all the photos, and I especially love that pink coat. It reminds me of the coats my sister and I used to wear when we were little girls -- so pretty and old-fashioned!
Is it totally goofy that i actually have a matching pink coat too - as an ADULT?!?! Im such a dork! :)
Everything looks so fun! I miss the egg hunts! Although my sisters kids are getting to the age where they can do them, so next year will be fun :)
That umbrella! Wow! So glad it was a great weekend. I'm always amazed at how much you guys can pack into 48 hours.
