What a weekend!
CB attended her school's fifth prom Friday night and it was, as always, a special evening.
Okay, she doesn't look super thrilled here, but she had a great time - just HATES to get her photo taken!
Saturday, we celebrated a low key Mother's Day at a local winery for brunch.
It was windy as all Hell...

... and Exhibit B.
But the "chance of thunderstorms" held off,
and I think we spotted Posh Spice in the crowd.
Sunday, after a morning of sleeping in ( a little), breakfast, and adorable homemade gifts, I scooted off to Philadelphia to meet my mom for lunch and a walk around Olde City.
I realized at breakfast that I have been a mother for about 20 years.
That kinda freaked me out. In a good way.
You'd think I'd be a pro at this point but sadly, I'm not.
And this is the girlie who started it all...

Thank you so much for this post. Your happiness brought tears to my eyes. I am so busy taking care of my son Rhys that I realized I've grossly overlooked my own mum. I'm happy to see a picture of your husband in the series too (even though hidden by your hair!). Thank you for being brave enough to post your life on the internet for others to share and receive.
