Life Cycle Of An Ice Cream Cone

Isn't vacation great? Endless ice cream. This is 3 1/2 year old Tink eating her favorite flavor, "Amazon Storm" by Blue Bunny. But she calls it "Hammers On Storm."

She'll spend 20 minutes devouring her cone in silence and then she'll look at me and ask an important question, such as:

"Do pirates wear underpants?"
To which I'll respond
"Um... yes they do."

"Oh. Gross."

Or "Mom, do you like potatoes?"
"Yes, why?"
"Um, no reason."

I love our mother-daughter conversations. So deep. Ice cream. Pirates. Underpants. Potatoes.

Summer. Gotta love it.

This is a perfect kid story.
Little things.
It's all the damn little things that make kids perfect - I wish I could remember all the little things that happen everyday.

So cute.

And, thanks. Now all I want is ice cream. And pirate underpants.
